Enneagram 9: Harmony is a gift. Disappearing is the pattern.
The one who makes every person in the room feel heard. Who genuinely sees all sides of an argument — not as a diplomatic strategy, but because they actually can. Who brings a calming, grounding presence that makes hard conversations feel manageable. Who never seems to need anything.
That last part is worth reflecting on.
Because the Nine doesn’t not need things. They’ve simply learned — somewhere along the way — that their needs create waves. And waves create conflict. And conflict is the thing they’ve spent a lifetime learning to prevent.
